How it works
- Open the app at the show. Your KJ needs to be running PulseKJ.
- Enter the 6-digit PIN shown on the KJ's screen. Each venue has its own PIN.
- Tell the KJ your name — the first time only. Next time at that venue, it knows you.
- Pick a song and tap +. Then watch your spot on the Home tab.

Questions
The app says the PIN doesn't work.
A PIN only works while that venue's show is running. Check the number on the KJ's screen — the KJ may have made a new one. After 10 wrong tries in a row, the app asks you to wait 15 minutes.
It says "No show is running at this venue right now."
The KJ's computer isn't connected yet (or the show has ended). Give it a minute and pull down to refresh.
How do I change my name or pass my phone to a friend?
On the Home tab tap Change next to your name → Change name. Each name on a phone keeps its own spot and songs.
I'm at a different venue.
Tap Change → Different venue and enter that venue's PIN.
I'm not getting notifications.
Notifications are asked for after your first request. If you said no, turn them on in the iPhone Settings app → PulseKJ → Notifications.
My song isn't in the song book.
Search for it, then tap Ask the KJ for it. If the KJ has it under a different spelling, the app opens it for you; otherwise it goes on the KJ's wish list.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no password and no email. See the privacy policy for what the app keeps.
I'm a KJ — how do I use PulseKJ at my shows?
